KUCHING, SARAWAK – Treehouse Academy, an innovative afterschool education clubhouse, will celebrate its opening of their first flagship center on February 3rd, 2025, at Saradise, Kuching. The ceremony will be officiated by the CEO of Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC), marking a significant milestone in the integration of education and technology in Sarawak.
The event will commence at 9:30 AM with guest arrivals, followed by the official opening ceremony at 11:00 AM, and conclude with a networking luncheon at noon. The ceremony will bring together key stakeholders including parents, education industry leaders, corporate partners, and SDEC representatives.
Treehouse Academy is a groundbreaking joint venture between two SDEC-accelerated startups: The Learning Curve and Hexabyn Technologies. Both companies are success stories from SDEC’s Digital Village Accelerator (DiVA) Program, with their founders, Kenneth Chai and Desmond Chin, being program alumni from the 2023 cohort.

▪ STEM, core subject tuition, music, and foreign language programs
▪ Real-time CCTV monitoring system for parents
▪ Secure transportation services for students
▪ Meal arrangements with local food establishments
▪ Full-featured mobile application (Luna) for parent-tutor communication and service management

The Learning Curve, a STEM delivery partner for SDEC since 2020, provides educational content expertise, while Hexabyn Technologies contributes its technical prowess in developing the digital platform and mobile application.
